a couple of definitions

good⋅ness

1. the state or quality of being good.
2. moral excellence; virtue.
3. kindly feeling; kindness; generosity.
4. excellence of quality: goodness of workmanship.
5. the best part of anything; essence; strength.
6. a euphemism for God: Thank goodness!
pow⋅er 
–noun
1. ability to do or act; capability of doing or accomplishing something.
2. great or marked ability to do or act; strength; might; force.
3. the possession of control or command over others; authority; ascendancy: power over men's minds.
4. a person or thing that possesses or exercises authority or influence.
5. Often, powers. a deity; divinity: the heavenly powers.
6. powers, Theology. an order of angels. Compare angel (def. 1).
7. energy, force, or momentum: The door slammed shut, seemingly under its own power.
